Lake Park Elementary School will be a host site for the Pfizer Pediatric COVID-19 vaccine. November 8, 2021 will be for the first dose and December 1, 2021 will be for the second dose. Times for both dates is 12:15pm-3:15pm

The FDA has authorized the use of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine for children ages 5 through 11 years. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Advisory Committee has also approved the vaccine for this same age group.

With this authorization in place, the School District, in partnership with the Health Care District of Palm Beach County, will offer the Pediatric Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, which is one-third the strength of the vaccine formulated for individuals ages 12 and older.
